Happy (Chinese) New Year…

The Chinese New Year is the biggest festival in the calendar for the Chinese community. 2015 is the year of the Goat or Sheep, depending on where in the world you are.

Last month when the Chinese New Year officially started, a twinning project saw Blythe Bridge High from Staffordshire join with one of our Malaysian schools SJKC Choong Wen School, to help celebrate the New Year in style.

SJKC Choong Wen School put on a spectacular show, with 24 seasons drum performance, a Lion dance, a traditional New Year feast and massive sing along at the end.

Watch the awesome video Choong Wen School shared with us.  If you’re looking out for them Blythe Bridge High are the fifth school along the bottom.

Hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
